This project focused on designing a detailed Low-Level Design (LLD) fiber network across five towns: Lanark, Wilmington, Eagle Lake, Minooka, and Channahon. Infraplus began the process by validating all input address data using the respective County GIS portals and Google Street View for field verification.

After confirming utility locations and ROW constraints, the team developed FSA (Fiber Serving Area) boundaries per distributed split guidelines. Next, HST (Home Service Terminal) boundaries were designed using a splitter ratio of 1:4 or 1:8—optimized based on suburban or urban deployment needs. The project emphasized avoiding private property placements, ensuring all handholes were appropriately aligned with lot lines.

Placement of conduits, handholes, and splitters adhering to client guidelines
Design accuracy with clear demarcation of boundaries and splicing hierarchy
