Overview

Infraplus Consulting was appointed to deliver comprehensive pre-bid engineering support for the solid waste management systems of the UPSIDA Industrial Area in Salempur, Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. The goal was to develop an integrated design strategy for automated waste handling and treatment infrastructure, as part of an EPC bid.

The assignment focused on preparing a detailed engineering concept for a fully automated collection, transfer, and treatment facility, covering the entire waste management cycle from collection bins to effluent treatment. In line with urban sustainability mandates, all solutions were designed to be compliant with CPCB and SWM Rules 2016.

Scope of Work

Solid Waste Infrastructure Design

Pre-bid concept development and engineering design of a Solid Waste Management Facility, integrating automation and mechanization.
Layout planning and spatial optimization for infrastructure footprint.

Bio-Methanation & Transfer Station

Design and detailed drawings for Bio-Methanation Plant with feedstock modeling and treatment capacity.
Architectural and engineering layout of the Transfer Station.

Cost Estimation & BOQ

Comprehensive BOQ and cost estimation for the SWM facility.
Lifecycle costing including Operation & Maintenance during the 36-month Defect Liability Period (DLP), with 3-month performance-based maintenance metrics.

Plant Layout & Drawings

Development of General Arrangement (GA) drawings and layout plans for facility setup.
Site integration of components such as bins, collection vehicles, bio-methanation modules, effluent treatment lines, and transfer station corridors.
